Description AN AGATE INTAGLIO INSET PERSIAN SILVER RINGThe seal probably Sasanian, ancient Persia /Iran, c. 3rd – 6th century or later, the silver setting dating to the 19th century. The silver ring decorated with filigree applications and inset with the ancient agate seal, incised with a winged horse.Condition: Very good condition with traces of wear commensurate with age. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
