受沁呈深褐色，局部可見原生玉為青白玉。拋光精細，帶光澤。橢圓形碗身，底有圈足，平口。器表紋飾雕琢排列規整，以一周弦紋分為上下兩欄。上層圍繞口沿浮雕整排勾連雲紋，開口一上、一下交錯成列。下層飾滿勾連穀紋，，穀粒飽滿立體，繁複精緻。 本件《戰國青白玉穀紋橢圓形碗》為實用器，以玉打造雕琢細膩的實用器至戰國時期才較為多見，通常用料講究、製作精良、紋飾豐富，僅出土於地位崇高的大墓之中，應為東周王室或諸侯王的專用玉器皿。
