2nd-3rd century AD. A gold ring comprising a D-section shank, broad keeled shoulders, chamfered plaque, discoid bezel with Greek(?) 'EVT/VXI' inscription. Cf. Chadour, A.B. Rings. The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994, item 345. 3.22 grams, 22mm overall, 18.58mm internal diameter (approximate size British Q 1/2, USA 8 1/4, Europe 18.12, Japan 17) (1").
