A restrung necklace composed of graduated tabular lozengiform carnelian beads, interspersed with large facetted glass and small spherical beads with some modern yellow-metal melon beads in between, with central feature bead of large facetted deep-red carnelian bead; modern clasp. 87.1 grams, 69cm (27 1/4"). Property of a central London collector; previously with Gorny and Mosch, Munich, sale 252, lot 357; formerly acquired in London in 1974; accompanied by the relevant Gorny and Mosch catalogue pages. Fine condition.
