A terracotta figurine of a seated female with curved legs, swollen belly, hands cupping the breasts, pinched deltoid head with folded headdress; incised modern signature of 'MOUSSAIFF' incised to the reverse. 105 grams, 91mm (3 5/8"). Property of a North London gentleman; formerly in the collection of Mr S.M., London, formed 1948-2000. Fine condition, one foot absent otherwise a good example of this classic type.
