A carved marble head of the Buddha with a serene expression, eyes half-closed, his hair pulled up to a topknot, elongated ears, fleshy features and small pursed mouth. 15 kg, 30cm (11 3/4"). Property of an American gentleman; acquired 1970s-1990s. Fine condition, nose partially absent.
