A large cream glazed footed bowl with notched rim, the inside with large green five-pointed star with arms extending below the rim, painted in green, a stylised bird with green dot decoration to each panel in between, the star and birds with incised scrolled decoration. 788 grams, 26cm diameter (10 1/4"). Property of a Marylebone lady; previously with Rabi Gallery, 94 Mount Street, London since 1978; formerly in a collection from the 1930s. Fine condition, repaired.
