A parrying dagger comprising a two-edged lentoid-section tapering blade and ribbed ricasso, tapering quillons with riing to one face, wooden barrel grip, biconvex pommel; the ricasso with geometric brass-inlaid maker's mark to one face, stylised mask to the other. 481 grams, 48cm (19"). From an important English collection; acquired in the 1990s. Fine condition.
