A military knife comprising a single-edged iron blade with scooped back, bronze hilt with volute-scroll baluster, the grip columnar with feather detailing, pommel an eagle's head with curved beak. 222 grams, 28cm (11"). Property of a London collector; acquired on the London market, 1990s-2000s. Very fine condition.
