A substantial bifacial gilt-bronze octofoil harness pendant with low-relief detailing; Side A: a rectangular building with crenellated front, arcade with winged lion behind, chain to the neck attached to a column or ball, pairs of birds' wings to each side of the building; Side B: heater shield with opposed peacock(?) supporters, border of crescents surrounding quartered arms 1 and 4 a castle of three towers, 2 and 3 vair. 23.8 grams, 61mm (2 1/2").
