Dimensions: Height: 31.5cm, Diam: 20cm Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong Douqing celadon porcelain double gourds bottle. Potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, short cylindrical neck, straight open mouth, raised on slightly short splayed foot base and slightly concave. The body of the bottle is entirely covered in simple and pure Douqing glaze. All reserved in an even coat of a pale green glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The deep green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely exterior, glazed smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
