Dimensions: Height: 20 cm, Length: 17cm, Width: 13cm Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, Reversed Blue porcelain wine pot. The Porcelain potted in wine pot shape, globular body, heavy on the mid, tall round neck, curved spout flanked on the mid belly, emerge U shape handles giving a balance on the opposite sides, raised on round flat foot base with slight concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in masterfully covered in an even coat of a deep blue glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The blue glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The glazes of the whole vase are colorful, gorgeous, and showing distinguished honor. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
