This porcelain in warm and uniform yellow glaze applied to the whole body, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Yellow is an imperial color in traditional Chinese color symbolism, representing power, royalty, and prosperity. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines.
