Since she was a child, Ana Paúl felt attracted by paper and its expressive possibilities. She soon began to make different types of compositions with different types of images that she found and also her own. The influence of Japanese culture can be seen in her work, where paper has been explored with great subtlety. Ana Paúl is attracted by its expressiveness, its textures, its folds, its profiles, its edges and its volumes. She is also captivated by forests and trees, their majestic beauty and primordial mystery. After completing his studies, he moved first to London and then to Paris where he lived for 20 years. There she worked in the fashion and decorative arts industry and was exposed to great creativity and artistic freedom through contact with top designers and witnessing their most creative presentations. Throughout this time she continued to develop her collages, inspired by all the talent around her. She currently lives and works between Madrid and Barcelona.
