A Korean crackled-glazed bowl, late Joseon dynasty, with an opaque greenish-grey glaze suffused with a network of grey crackles, the bowl with incised designs, labels for Radcliffe collection and BADA, 16cm diameter x 9.8cm high Provenance: Major Edward Copleston Radcliffe (1898-1967) collection and listed in the family archive, 'A18', as purchased from Sotheby's in 1945 for £1-0s-0d and listed in the Bluetts archive as bought on commission at Sotheby's, April 6th, 1945 from the collection of Jamieson Ritchie Condition Report: old gold lacquer repair to rim 1.5cm long x 7mm high
