Qing Dynasty Chinese Tibetan gilt bronze Buddha figure of Amitabha. The sculpture face in serene expression flanked by pendulous earlobes and floral earrings, the ushnisha topped with a knobs. The hair is piled on the crown of the head with some falling loose across the shoulders. A three pendants necklace hangs across the chest, and armlets are worn on both arms. Masculine arms are rests on lap, with hands in Dhayana Mudra gesture of absolute balance, meditation (MISSING BOWL). Sets upon a multi leveled platforms throne pedestal, and the demountable decorative framework throne-back arched niche surrounding the Buddha figures represent rays of nimbus light emanate from the Buddha. Extensive trace of gilt and blue pigment on the hair. A piece of Mantra paper scroll inside the body through the base.
