A Chinese rectangular white jade plaque dating from the 18th century. The jade plaque is carved with Li Yu, the supernatural fish that grow into dragons, a lantern, a flowering branch, and incense. Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are 3 holes drilled in the front and the back has 3 chips. Provenance: From Mr. Biskey in Minnesota. A jadeite covered bowl from the Qing Court collection, now preserved in the Palace Museum, Beijing, is illustrated in _Treasures of Imperial Court_, Hong Kong: Commercial Press, 2004, pg. 226 (fig. 1).
