Ornately open-works carved backrest, wide and both arms panel carved with Wanzi motif, scrolling ruyi, flying phoenix opposite imperial dragon through vapors flaming clouds in a round medallion. The whole supported on legs of rectangles square section joined by stepped stretchers on hoofed foot. This Chinese chairs gives a strong and antique impression of luxury.Huanghuali, or yellow flowering pear wood, Originally know as huali or huali, the color can range from reddish-brown to golden-yellow. The sweet fragrance of huali distinguishes it from the similar appearing but pungent-adored hongmu. The finest Huanghuali has a translucent shimmering surface with abstractly figured patterns that delight the eye. It has distinctive form and elegant ornamentation. It is intact, with exquisite mortise-tenon technique. Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of Great Ming Dynasty.
