Dimensions: Height: 45cm, Diam: 26cm Chinese Yuan Dynasty Period, Octagonal Blue and white plum porcelain bottle. The porcelain shaped into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall, wide body on shoulder, octagonal opening lip with emerging flaring ring mouth rim, raised on octagonal foot base, with slight concave. This porcelain in blue and white fine color, is an excellent object on exterior with abundant flower blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling tendril. The blue and white glaze on this vase is rather fresh and natural while the color is rich and brilliant. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
