Potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, short cylindrical neck, straight open mouth, raised on slightly short splayed foot base and slightly concave. The exterior decorated by applying of wucai design color, a variety of five-colored pigments creates bold opaque hand-painting of Flying Phoenix and cranes through scrolling ruyi clouds, vapors and interlocking tendril. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years Jiajing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
