A Chinese Famille Verte Tazza Of octagonal form, the wide dish raised on a tall spreading foot, decorated in bright famille verte enamels, the centre with a design of a song bird on a blossoming peony branch, the wide rim with four cartouches containing flowers alternating with chrysanthemum heads reserved against a floral diaper ground, the tall foot with panels containing flowers, the reverse rim with a band of pendant ruyi heads above a band of diamond work on a green ground, all above four large peony sprays, the base and interior of the tall foot glazed.
