The piece was made during the Sui Dynasty of China, and is believed to be circa 581-604 AD. The horse measures 20"H x 13"L x 7.5"W, and is all original, with no restoration. The piece has visible root deposits, further alluding to it's age. Similar pieces, in less favorable condition have sold at auction for $25,000 and higher. This piece was purchased by our client from Anthony J. Allen, Chinese antiques expert and five time author of books about authenticating Chinese antiques.
