A Chinese Jian black ‘hares fur’ bowl, the steep rounded sides rising from a short spreading foot to a gently everted rim, the interior covered with a black glaze suffused with fine russet striations, the exterior with a similar glaze stopping short of the foot revealing the dark brown stoneware body, 12.5cm diameter, Southern Song dynasty Provenance: Orientique Gallery, Hong Kong 中国南宋建窑黑釉兔毫盏，陡峭圆形边从浅圈足上升至轻微外翻口沿，内覆黑色釉，充满精细的黄褐色条纹，外覆同色釉未及脚，露出脚深褐色炻器身，直径12.5厘米 来源：香港吉庆堂画廊 CONDITION: There is a 17cm by 2.5cm area of restoration to the rim and a small area (8mm by 6mm) of kiln adhesion stuck to the interior.
