A small Chinese Dingyao ‘lotus’ bowl, the rounded sides rising from a short foot to a straight rim, the interior carved with a flowering lotus, covered in a pale cream glaze, 9cm diam, Song dynasty 中国宋代定窑划莲花纹小碗，圆边由浅足升至直口沿，内刻一朵盛开的莲花，覆淡奶油色釉，直径9厘米 CONDITION: There is a 1cm by 5mm area of restoration to the rim and an associated 5cm crack running from it. There is also one side of the bowl that has fired to a slightly darker colour.
