Two embroidered silk panels Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th century Each worked in silk and cotton threads with a dove in flight among a profusion of blooming chrysanthemums, thistles and morning glories beneath trailing wisteria on a red silk ground; signed on one panel with seal Akamon Shokai (Akamon Trading Company). Each panel 330.5cm x 113.5cm (130 1/8in x 44½in). (2). 注脚 According to the owner, these panels as well as those in the following lot were displayed in the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1900.
