Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892) Meiji era (1868-1912), circa 1886-1887 Three oban tate-e prints from the series Tsuki hyakushi (A Hundred Aspects of the Moon): the first, no.15, depicting Iga no Tsubone on Mount Yoshino under a midnight moon, 33.4cm x 23cm (13 3/16in x 9 1/16in); the second, no.49, of a streetwalker exposed by the autumn moonlight, 32cm x 21.8cm (12 5/8in x 8 9/16in); the last, no.41, the moon over the pine forest of Mio with Takeda Shingen, 33.3cm x 23cm (13 1/8in x 9 1/16in); all published by Akiyama Bunzaemon, all signed Yoshitoshi with the artist's seal, all framed and glazed.
