After Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892) Showa era (1926-1989), first half of 20th century An album bound from a complete set of 32 oban tate-e prints and one mokuroku (contents page) titled 'Fuzoku sanjuniso' (32 Aspects of Customs and Manners of Women), each sheet showing half-length figures of women of different social classes from 1789 to Yoshitoshi's present, caught in typical moments from their daily lives. Each sheet approx., 39cm x 27cm (15 3/8in x 10 5/8in). 注脚 The present lot comprises lithograph versions of original woodblock prints published circa 1888 by Tsunashima Kamekichi, reproduced in the early Showa era.
