A set of two Chinese watercolor and ink paintings on paper of insects by Lu Ketao. One painting depicts a pair of dragonflies, and it has one inscription and two seals. The other painting depicts a caterpillar, and it has an inscription and one seal. Each painting is mounted on a silk backing and framed. Dimensions are: 11 1/2 inches tall X 14 1/4 inches wide, 29.2 cm X 36.2 cm, while the frame measures 16 inches tall X 24 1/2 inches wide, 40.6 cm X 62.2 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Both paintings are in overall good condition. The painting of the dragonflies has two areas of staining. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
