Two Chinese watercolor and ink paintings on paper by Wu Kanbai. One painting depicts two birds with roses, while the other painting features two birds with chrysanthemums. The painting with the roses has an inscription, signature, and three seals, while the painting with the chrysanthemums has an inscription, a signature, and one seal, and each is mounted on a silk backing. Dimensions are: 17 1/4 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide, 43.8 cm X 16.5 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Both paintings have splitting to the backing. The painting with the roses also has a minor crease. The other painting has spotting. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
