A set of four Chinese watercolor and ink paintings on silver-flecked paper of numerous Luohan by Zhang Daxia that were given to Tao Xisheng. One of the paintings has a dedication with two seals. The other paintings have one signature each; one painting also has one seal, and the other two paintings have two seals each. The Luohan are engaged in various activities including playing go, reading a scroll, playing instruments, drinking, examining a painting, etc. Each painting is mounted on paper. Dimensions are: 16 inches tall X 12 1/2 inches wide, 40.6 cm X 31.8 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: All four paintings have spotting and staining.
