A pair of framed Chinese watercolor and ink paintings on silk of women by Lao Qing. One painting features a woman in an indoor scene with a mirror, while the other painting features a woman with a sword floating among clouds. Each painting has an inscription and one seal, and each is mounted on a silk backing and framed. Dimensions are: 11 1/4 inches tall X 15 1/2 inches wide, 28.6 cm X 39.4 cm, while the frame measures 13 3/4 inches tall X 22 1/2 inches wide, 34.9 cm X 57.2 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Both paintings have significant creasing, loss to the surface, and minor spotting. One painting has a large area of repair, as well as separation and loss of threads.
