Spanish or Italian frame from the second half of the 18th century. Carved and gilded wood. With faults. Measurements: 80 x 86 cm; 46 x 64 cm. This frame has a rectangular profile on the inside and on the outside, although the latter is surpassed on its four sides by the ominous work of the carving, with a decoration based on festoons, garlands, laurel leaves, scallops and scrolls. The more decorative top is made up of foliate bouquets intertwining around a score. The whole piece has been delicately carved, with great naturalism, inspired by the Spanish ornamental background of the 17th century.
