Louis XIII mirror; France, 19th century. Ebonised wood and brass applications. Size: 90 x 57 cm; 35 x 25,5 cm. Frame in carved and gilded wood that is structured in several registers, an interior perimeter of golden colour is composed of a fine band with a carving made up of small leaves that follow one another rhythmically. The middle register, the largest, has a smooth ebonised finish on which the carving has a larger volume, located in the corners and in the intermediate areas. The outer band has a similar design to the inner perimeter, and finally the frame is finished with a large top with a vegetal design.
