此件龙龟以和阗白玉为材，玉质细腻，局部有黄褐色沁。整器圆雕而成，龙头龟身，作俯卧状，圆眼阔口，双角后伸，神态安然。四肢短而有力，龟背呈椭圆形，阴刻龟甲纹。龙龟为龙生九子之赑屃，好负重，后人用其为碑座。此件龙龟敦实可爱，造型小巧，包浆古雅浑厚，龟身中部打一方孔，上下通穿，便于穿戴，是一件非常具有韵味的把玩之物。
