此件玉牌为和阗白玉制成，玉质温润，洁白细腻。牌体呈椭圆型，内外分为三区。中心镂雕一童子，头扎双髻，身着肚兜，手持圆环站立。内环围绕中心童子，以减地浮雕手法琢刻篆书十天干：“甲、乙、丙、丁、戊、己、庚、辛、壬、癸”一周。沿牌体外缘雕琢一龙一螭环绕牌面，龙身矫健，遒劲有力，极具动感。背面阴刻云纹，下端雕海水纹。整体牌饰精工精料，纹饰暗合“望子成龙”之吉祥寓意。
