A LARGE CARVED BUFFALO HORN WITH CRANES AND LOTUS, QINGChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The tusk with pronounced curvature, densely carved in openwork with cranes amid lotus blooms and leaves, all above incised waves. The horn of a brown to reddish color. Condition: With some wear, encrustations, cracks and few chips and losses, overall, still good condition. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum.
