A MINIATURE JADE CONG-FORM BEAD, LIANGZHU CULTUREJade. China, Liangzhu culture, c. 3300-2200 BCThis jade is carved as a two-tiered miniature cong. Despite the small size, the bead is finely worked with typical features seen on larger cong, each register incised with stylized masks at each of the four corners.
