A CELADON JADE ´HEHE ERXIAN´ GROUP, c. 1920sChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) – Republic period (1912-1949). The twin immortals of harmony and union carved in openwork, standing side by side with cheerful expressions and wearing long flowing robes. One holds a large lotus stem and the other a basket issuing swirling clouds and a bat, all backed by a large lotus leaf above crashing waves. The stone of a semi translucent celadon tone with icy inclusions and russet speckles. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and few tiny nicks along the lotus leaf. Provenance: Austrian private collection. Weight: 792 g Dimensions: Height 15 cm
