A TIBETAN COPPER AND BRASS POWDER HORN, 19th CENTURYTibet, 19th century. Made to contain and dispense gunpowder, the copper powder horn fitted with finely chased and open worked brass mountings to either end, flanked by a makara head handle with a hinged lid in the form of a floral bud. Condition: Good condition with traces of wear and age, shallow surface scratches, and dents. Provenance: Austrian private collection. Previously in an old German collection.
