A LARGE AND FINE POWDER BLUE GROUND ENAMELED VASE, QINGChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Of cylindrical form, decorated with two raised rectangular panels, one depicting a court scene of an aristocrat with servants and the other a river and mountain landscape scattered with pavilions, further with two smaller raised panels on the waisted neck, enclosing Buddhist lions and two boys holding lotus sprays, all against a powder blue ground.Condition: Presenting well, with some wear, abrasions, and firing irregularities such as dark spots, a short crack to the mouth rim and a larger one extending from the neck to the lower body.
