A BLUE, WHITE AND IRON RED ‘SCHOLARS’ PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE, QINGChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Of cylindrical form with a straight cylindrical neck and recessed base. The bottle finely decorated in underglaze blue and iron red, depicting a mountainous landscape with a river, as well as two scholars engaged in a board game. The shoulder minutely painted with geometric designs and floral motifs and the recessed base with the character for longevity. Condition: Good condition with minor traces of wear and age, some chips to the foot ring, and manufacturing irregularities.
