A GILT LACQUERED BRONZE FIGURE OF PHRA MALAI IN BUDDHIST HELL, RATTANAKOSIN PERIODThailand, Rattanakosin Kingdom (1782–1932), early 19th century. Heavily cast standing on a lotus base and wearing a samghati, the base is cast with various emaciated figures and animals all around. Condition: Overall good condition with some wear and casting irregularities, some nicks, and losses. With remains of gilding. Provenance: Danish private collection.
