A ceramic rhyton with bell-shaped body, bull-head finial with crescent horns and applied disc eyes, aperture to the mouth, applied model calf to the forward face with legs folded beneath the body, modelled in the round. 887 grams, 37cm (14 1/2"). From the collection of a North London gentleman; acquired in the 1980s. Fine condition.
