A hollow-formed ceramic figure of a satyr with human head and torso, horse's legs and tail, seated on a wicker basket; the hair worn long and falling to the back, the right arm bent; left arm absent with pierced socket at the shoulder. 1.2 kg, 26.5cm (10 1/2"). Property of a London lady, part of her family's Swiss collection; formerly acquired in the 1980s. [No Reserve]Fine condition, repaired.
