A rectangular wooden board with painted icon on a prepared surface; red painted border enclosing an image of St. George, cloaked and armoured, mounted lunging with his lance into the mouth of an attacking dragon, sundered body parts in the foreground, city wall in the background with fleeing female, round tower with king and two supporters and a herald; legend to the upper left 'ó?á ????????' (Saint George) and cloud to the upper right corner with 'hand of God' amid sunburst; Ionian Islands School. See Weizmann, K. et al.
