Description: Extremely fine piece with figural scenes, blossoms and a mountainous landscape. On the outside are ladies with their children on a walk through the spring landscape, the first blossoms on the knotted branches. Inside, in the well, is a dense blossom composition and, on the walls, many playing children and only one lady carrying her son. The borders are densely ornamental with gold on a dark red background. On the bottom is the Shimazu family crest and the signature SHO-KO-ZAN 精 巧 山 on a red background. Condition: Good condition Provenance: From an Austrian private collection
