The porcelain potted in bottle shape vase, globular lower body, heavy on the shoulder, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with slight flaring mouth rim, raised on splayed round foot base and slighty concave. All reserved in hand painting ornamentations, rendered in clean white under glazed ground color which contrast against the blue and red fine color. The Exterior decorated snarling huge imperial five claws dragon careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves in a red color dragon squama to chasing flaming pearl amidst flames and vapors. Pile up geometric pattern and repeating taotie mask on the upper mouth rim. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity, the Li-shui wave pattern which is known to be the abode of dragons. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.
