Yuan Dynasty, finely potted in Chinese traditional YuHuChun shape vessel, 'the pear shaped' bottle vase, a bottom-heavy body tapered gracefully to slender waisted neck flaring at the rim, supported on short spreading foot ring. Painted in various tones and shades of cobalt-blue with great dragon throughout the body. The glaze stopping before the foot rim, revealed the orange-creme ground, with dark-grayish firing marks. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, pooling on the base slightly veiling the mark. The vase upon a carved wooden stand, beautifully presented inside hard cushion wrapped auspicious archaistic medallion threads with grayish silk, all set within an original hardwood box.
