Stunning, Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, Xuande blue & white motif porcelain moon vase on stand. The Fine porcelain with tall ovoid body, thick, with bulbous lower region, sweeping up into a slender neckline and straight slightly flaring mouth rim, raised with slight short rectangle footing, two archaic ribbon handles flanked from neck to the shoulder rim, create majestic handles. All reserved in hand painting ornamentations, rendered in clean white under glazed ground color which contrast against the blue fine color. Blue and white porcelain in Chinese it is called Qing Hua Ci. It is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. It was originated in the Yuan Dynasty.
