The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, broad cavetto, with a flaring opening lip, raised on a small round, high foot, with concave footing. All reserved in hand painting ornamentations, rendered in clean white under glazed ground color which contrast against the cobalt blue and red fine color. The Exterior adorned with snarling huge imperial five claws dragon careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves in a red fine color dragon squama to chasing flaming pearl amidst flames. Enclosed with double fine blue ring on the foot base rim and on the upper mouth rim. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity, the Li-shui wave pattern which is known to be the abode of dragons.
